Holiday on February 17 2018 due to Beemapally Uroos festival

Trivandrum MLA, V.S. Sivakumar has said that the activities that were being undertaken by various departments in connection with the forthcoming Urus festival at Beemapally will be completed in a time-bound manner.

Adequate number of water tanks will be installed and sufficient drinking water will be supplied supported by the Kerala Water Authority and Revenue Department as part of implementation green protocol. Additional bus services will be run by the KSRTC in addition to the existing ones to reduce the travelling difficulties during this time.

Sanitation works will be undertaken in the Beemapally during the course of the Uroos festival as part of adopting precautionary measures for the upcoming monsoon season. Mr. Sivakumar also inaugurated four high-mast lights that have been installed at various points including Noorul Islam junction, Beemapally High School junction and Pathekkar junction in Beemapally in connection with the festival.
